Properties: Roman Chamomile is a very pale blueish liquid. It's a sweet herbaceous scent with fruity undertones. The ancient Romans called it 'earth apple' because it faintly smells like apples. Roman Chamomile is a true children's' oil, and is good for many childhood issues.

Safety: Roman Chamomile essential oil is on the FDA's Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) list. Roman Chamomile essential oil is non-toxic, non-irritant, and non-sensitising. Roman Chamomile is in the same botanical family as ragweed, and if you have ragweed allergies this oil may also trigger those allergies, although the frequency of this happening is rare.
